The 2020 Car Finance Awards took place last week, albeit in an entirely different format to the norm. Coronavirus restrictions made it impossible for the festivities to take place in the usual style, which were instead replaced by an interactive digital broadcast.
Wrapping up the third week of the 2020 Credit Festival, the event once again recognised some of the most important talent and innovative service providers from across the industry right now.
The annual Car Finance Awards is the only event of its kind that takes place in the UK, handing out a variety of accolades to lenders, brokers, dealers and other contributors. Close Brothers Motor Finance managing director Sean Kemple hosted the event, alongside head of automotive sector at Growcap Peter Cottle.
There was also a special guest appearance from Ivo Graham – the popular comedian and Mock the Week panelist.
The event was sponsored by ALPHERA Financial Services, Ardent Credit Services, Chartsbridge, LendingMetrics and MoneyBarn Vehicle Finance.
MotoNovo Finance collected one of the most prestigious awards of the evening – Best Independent Lender – while the folks at Oracle Car Finance were named Best Specialist Car Finance Provider of the year.
